The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science would like to congratulate Dr.-Ing. Bianca Kern: The Lower Saxony Chamber of Engineers Foundation (Stiftung der Ingenieurkammer Niedersachsen) has awarded Dr.-Ing. Bianca Kern a foundation prize for her doctoral thesis at the Institute of Building Materials on the topic of "Vibration creep in concrete – influence of cyclic mechanical stresses on deformation behaviour".
The Lower Saxony Chamber of Engineers Foundation awarded its 2026 foundation prizes to two dissertations, three master's theses and two bachelor's theses. The prizes were presented at the New Year's reception of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Engineers in a festive setting by the chairman of the foundation's board and president of the Chamber of Engineers, Prof. Dr. Martin Betzler.
