SPECIAL “ISPRS HANNOVER WORKSHOP” ISSUES OF PHOTOGRAMMETRIC ENGINEERING & REMOTE SENSING on High Resolution Earth Imaging for Geospatial Information

It is planned that a special issue will be published in Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing in September of 2010, based on the theme of the ISPRS Hannover Workshop 2009 entitled “High Resolution Earth Imaging for Geospatial Information” and including peer reviewed papers based on the best presentations to the Workshop and additional papers which fit into the topic.
Authors interested to submit papers to this special issue are invited to consider the submission guidelines for contributions to Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing (see http://www.asprs.org/publications/pers/submission_review.html )
Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing encourages authors to consider submitting an extended and/or modified version of the workshop paper for possible publication. Note that a submission cannot simply be a repeat of material already published on the workshop CD. The paper submitted to Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing must explicitly cite the conference details and any published proceedings, an explanation of the difference between the workshop paper and the version offered to Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing should be given in an accompanying letter.
Contributions should be submitted to guest editors Christian Heipke (heipke@ipi.unihannover. de), Karsten Jacobsen (jacobsen@ipi.uni-hannover.de), Sönke Müller (Mueller@ipi.uni-hannover.de) and Uwe Sörgel (soergel@ipi.uni-hannover.de).
The deadline for submission of papers to the special issue is October 31, 2009.
